how Claudine's Daughter came to be
For generations, recipes, traditions and the quiet work of caring for a family have so often been passed from woman to woman, yet their names are rarely the ones remembered. This bakery is my way of gently changing that. It is a celebration of the mothers, grandmothers and matriarchs whose hands mixed the dough, whose tables welcomed everyone, and whose love was most often shown through food.

Every product is made from scratch in small batches using carefully chosen ingredients selected for their flavour, not simply their convenience. Our jams are homemade, our fillings are crafted by hand, and every recipe is developed until it tells the story we want it to tell.
That same care extends beyond the food we make. From the products we use to clean our kitchen to the suppliers we choose to work with, we aim to make thoughtful decisions that are kinder to people, animals and the world around us wherever possible.
